The kennels are all heated, and every dog has access to it's own exercise run. Dog beds and bedding are supplied, but you are most welcome to bring in your own. We have found over the years that a special blanket or toy from home may be comforting to some animals.
Our guests have the benefit of television and radio playing softly in the background - we have found this familiar sound helps them to settle in.
Feeding
Mealtimes are served according to your specific feeding instructions. We recommend that you supply us with your dog’s own food in order to maintain their existing diet and routine.
Please make us aware of any food allergies or special instructions so that we can safely cater for your pet’s needs. Our modern kitchen facilities allow meals to be prepared fresh and hygienically, with water being refreshed throughout the day.
Walking
Our guests are walked twice a day along the forest tracks surrounding the croft. During this time the dogs can enjoy exploring the sights and sounds of nature. We walk each dog/family of dogs one at a time, to ensure we build trust and friendship through our contact with them.
Boarding Fees
Effective from 31st March 2023
All prices are based on a day rate or part thereof:
- 1 dog = £16.00 per day
- 2 dogs sharing = £25.00 per day (£8 discount)
- 3 dogs sharing = £32 per day (£16 discount)
Please contact us for pricing for families of 4 or more dogs. In an emergency we can provide wet & dry food from our inventory at a cost of £2.00 per dog per day.
Mandatory Requirements
All pets must arrive with an up-to-date vaccination certificate, which we will be required to keep for the duration of their stay. We highly recommend that your dog(s) have the Kennel Cough vaccination and ask that you discuss this with your own Veterinary Surgeon.
